Having lost five of six games, the New York Giants will be a desperate team Sunday and the Cowboys know it.
"Whenever you corner a rabid dog sometimes they're going to bite their way out," wide receiver Patrick Crayton said.
Of all Cowboys, Crayton seems to draw the most ire from the Giants, probably stemming from his "marking our territory" comment made after a win at the Meadowlands. New York running back Brandon Jacobs post-game dance on the midfield star in September drew a shove from Marc Colombo before the brouhaha was broken up.
"You just remember little things like that," Crayton said. "We never said we didn't respect them as a football team. I think we just didn't respect some of the remarks they had made going into the game."
So how good would a win Sunday feel if the Cowboys could all but eliminate the Giants?
"It'd be lovely," Crayton said. "It'd be lovely. It'd be lovely ... .Like Thanksgiving pumpkin pie. I should say sweet potato pie because I don't eat pumpkin pie. Like sweet potato pie."
