Cowboys signed 6-6, 320 pound offensive lineman Ryan Gibbons today. Gibbons is from Northeastern, and played for three teams, Jacksonville, Tampa Bay and Chicago, last season. Gibbons hasn't played in a NFL game. He was on all three practice squads.

Gibbons can play all three offensive line spots and the Cowboys liked him when he came out from Northeastern in 2006.

When you get a kid from Northeastern with the last name of Gibbons and he's already played for three NFL teams, it has to be written in the "stars."
