DMN Blog: Cowboys Stadium roof: no open and shut case

Because it's frustrating, as least as far as I'm concerned, that they wouldn't have had it open on a great day like it was on Sunday... and I think they need to answer why they didn't have it open.

It's a great stadium and a great stadium experience, but it would have been even better if they'd have had the roof open.

It's weird to have a retractable roof and not use it on a perfect day, and whoever it is who makes that decision needs to answer for it.

To each its own. There are far more things to complain about, imo, just look around and take your pick. :)

So you can open it and close it as you please, not as others would have you.

I don't get why anyone cares.

People are naturally curious as to why the roof is open one week but not the next. In other words, what's the thought process? Thanks to this story, we now know that their official explanation (assuming management is telling the truth) is unbelievably stupid.

Why is this a story?

It's a story because the whole in the roof is what Made Texas Stadium unique. The new stadium is nice, but the retractable roof is the only thing that resembles texas stadium. Jerry wanted that feature included and it's mystifying why it's not being used.

I heard tommorow is supposed to be around 60-65 and getting colder. The roof needs to be open. I'm sick of this comfort nonsense. If you want comfort stay home!! Open the roof Jerry!!!

if you're worried about being too warm and getting "sunburned" (what are you, pale as hell?), stay home.

a football game isn't the place for you.
