Poor Jason Williams...he's been a huge disappointment so far. NOt a high draft pick, but he was our first, and it was hoped he'd be a terror on special teams while learning to play LB....to be inactive and not even covering kicks worth a damn is really disappointing.

He's a rookie from a tiny school.

He needed a year to get aclimated. It doesnt mean anything that he didnt do much this year.

Our special teams were outstanding without him, so it didnt hurt us.

With Carpenter taking one of the backup spots at ILB and Octavien being able to play both inside and outside along with being a top special team player. He really didn't have much of a chance. Even another top ST linebacker is inactive in Curtis Johnson.

Nothing wrong with letting a raw kid sit, so long as he learns something.

Much more disappointing to me is Montrae Holland still being inactive. What a foolish trade that was.

Why? It was a late rd pick and we got a guy who was a proven starter. Did you think we were gonna get an established hallf of fame calibar player for it?

He was insurance for Davis and, more importantly, Kosier who was coming off an injury. You'd like the trade a lot better if one of the starting OG's went down.
