I'll do one post each day linking to Dolphins news unless something really juicy happens in Miami. We'll chat with coach Cam Cameron and Jason Taylor via conference call tomorrow, so I'll have some stuff from that, too.
The Dolphins' secondary has serious injury problems, too. Starting safety Yeremiah Bell tore his Achilles. He played the role of punisher in the Miami secondary.
Backup RB Jesse Chatman blamed himself and starter Ronnie Brown for the Dolphins' awful rushing stats (18 carries, 47 yards) in the loss to the Commanders. Cameron said the bad blocking didn't help.
LB Joey Porter complained after the game about watching OT on the bench. After a night of sleep, he realized he might play more if he knew the Dolphins' defensive schemes.
Cameron is still winning points with the Miami media for not being Nick Saban, who makes Bill Parcells look like Mary Poppins.

Miami secondary woes
Think the Cowboys’ have secondary problems?
The Dolphins lost their most aggressive safety in Yeremiah Bell, who tore his left Achilles’ tendon in the loss to Washington on Sunday.
And it was a major blow because there are depth issues all around.
Travares Tillman, with 17 career starts, could replace Bell. Also, Cameron Worrell, a free agent pickup during the offseason, is another possibility. Then, Jason Allen, last year’s No. 1 pick could move from corner to safety, Miami coach Cam Cameron said. Allen was drafted as a safety but in the offseason moved to corner.
Sounds like Dallas should go deep down the field again this week.
