Man, they said the same thing about Dante Hall some years back, and what wha? oh yea, he's sittin on the rams without a peep even coming out.

you ride Hester any harder, and you're gonna be carrying his baby

Dante Hall? Pretty funny comparison.

Did I say that? I said its going to fire Hester up. Read the post before you respond.

Why does Davis even have a microphone in front of him?

sorry forgot to put *source*

same difference. There ST is not gonna come out fired up because some S who doesn't even play said he wants a shot to take him down.

Yea cause Hester has been doing this for years, and years

oh wait, what's that

yea right
he's only done it for one year.

So what? Did you watch him in college? He has been doing it his entire life.

On one hand, I love that the Cowboys aren't showing any fear to anyone in this league, when you're the best, you have to act like it.

But for all that is pure, right, and simple, DO NOT KICK THE BALL TO DEVIN HESTER!!!!

so?

Because he's been doing it his entire life, we're suppose to shut up, call him the greatest ever, kick the ball out of bounds, and run around with our tail between our legs?

I think i'd rather have the players im paying thousands and for some of them millions of dollars, to the their damn job.

I fail to see how keeping the ball out of the hands of the other teams best playmaker is running around with our tail between our legs, but whatever you say.

The problem is that our players haven't been covering punts very well; we rank near the bottom. I think McBriar is good enough to angle the kick so it barely lands out of bounds, getting maximum distance in the process or at least corrals Hester on the sideline.

I'm with Keith Davis on this one, you can't sacrifice field position...

This is the Bears we are playing, are you serious?

between him and watkins maybe this is pure bs and we won't give him a chance all game. I doubt it but we will see

So if the teams best playemaker was the QB

how would you propose we keep the ball out of his hands? Run for 3 yards every play, using all seconds of the play clock, before each play? UJsing all 4 downs?

At some point and time, you have to man up and say, my team can stop the other team. My players can contain their players.

What a stupid hypothetical question. We arent talking about a QB. If anything its like not throwing at a shut down corner, and even that is stretching it.

Davis wants a shot at Hester

Special teams ace Keith "Fiddy" Davis doesn't want to hear any talk about kicking away from Bears return man extraordinaire "Heaven" Devin Hester.

"We better kick it to him," said Davis, who's been dreaming about putting a big hit on Hester. "I don’t want to go around and start pooch kicking and start trying to kick away from him. I don’t like that. I figure, if he’s supposed to be the best, let’s see how good we are."

The Bears laugh at opponents who want to challenge Hester.

I fail to see why so many people continually ride Hesters' nuts. Is he a good return guy? Sure, but he isn't indestructible or unstoppable.

He set NFL records as a rookie, gee why are people on his nuts...I just dont get it.

These guys are football players, they are not ushers or choir boys. They don't get bullied by posters of a message board or the media to keep their mouth shut. So I am GLAD that he will be gunning for Hester and that is the attitude that I want my players to have...

:hammer: Words never put a L or W on the board.

One thing is for sure we are going to kick it to him at some point in the game and Killa and co will have to step up.

Yes, MBIII was really scared about Joey Porter trashtalking & coming after him. Instead MBIII had his best running day including the longest run of his young career.
