As we all know from watch ESPN's Sunday studio show this season, Keyshawn Johnson and Cris Carter aren't very fond of Terrell Owens. The ex-WRs have picked, picked, picked on T.O. for everything from alligator arms to lizard leanings. They think T.O.'s sideline behavior has been lousy.

So it was surprising to hear Keyshawn kid-gloving Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin this morning after his sideline spat with former T.O. sparring partner Todd Haley.

"No. It's not that big of a deal," Keyshawn said. If it was, you could see players grabbing him ... I've been with Todd Haley and I've been around Todd Haley. He coached me with the Jets. He coached me in Dallas. In our meeting rooms (he) was the worst. You would like to be a fly on that wall. I don't how we could even be in the same room, I don't know how we can get along so well. But that's just a player and a coach out there competing. I work for TV, but I hate it because they try to turn it into more than it is. And, it's not that big of a deal."

Said Carter: "For one, a lot of times you don't know what the players are saying. But as players and coaches, we're a fraternity. Whatever we say on Sunday's or Monday's during the game it doesn't count. This is a competitive atmosphere. It's a result's oriented business ...When you have an athlete like him and he can't participate in the game, he's going to let the coach know that. And he has a right to know that because of the sacrifice he's made for his teammates."

That's the same Cris Carter who had to apologize for this statement last month:

"If it was me, I'd get rid of T.O. T.O. got to go from the beginning. Right from the giddy up. I take one bullet and put it right in him. Bam!"

TO replaced Keyshawn on Cowboys.
Keyshawn's undies are STILL bunched up over that.

TO passed Cris Carter for 2nd all time in TD's.
TO actually said, "I dont feel I should do an interview with the guy that is 3rd all time in TD's.... then gave kudos to Jerry Rice.

Need more than that?

:D

Same ole same ole, whether I agree with it or not.

I thought Carter did make a good point though when he said the definition of insanity "is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results" when talking about the Boys.

Carter gave Owens a break for going off on Sherman on the sidelines after the choke job against the Pittsburgh.

We all know Keyshawn has an agenda, but dont act like they're the only former players calling him out and ESPN is the only network bashing him.

Again.....

Keyshawn Johnson= Crybaby selfish loud mouth, just like TO, only difference is TO wouldn't be caught dead in some of the outfits we see Meshawn wearing on ESPN.

Cris Carter= A former Alcoholic and cocaine addict. That is worse than anything TO has ever done. Carter needs to take a trip down memory lane and remember what he was like at one time.

Just like Deion who is just as biased for TO. TO would have to kill someone for Deion to say he was wrong.

I was laughing when Boldin and Haley got into it, the only thing I can see during that spat was Haley saying, "Go ahead, go ahead", I wonder what was said.

Keyshawn acts like he wasn't suspended from his team, and no one on ESPN mentions it at all. That after winning a super bowl, Gruden didn't even want him on the team anymore.

Now, about Carter, you can't hold his former addictions over his head. He has done a lot since then to make sure others don't fall into those pitfalls. He addresses the rookies to warn them about what instant financial success can lead to.

But in regards to Owens, he has a double standard, no doubt about it. They both do. It gets to the point where I don't even watch ESPN pre-game. I'd rather watch Fox if I have to. At least sometimes they actually research the stories they talk about. It seems like ESPN's crew just regurgitates what Ed Werder "reports".

I agree with that, Carter has done better since he was into all that garbage. My problem with Cris is he always has something negative to say about Owens.....Cris was worse than TO at one point in his career. Atleast TO isn't showing up to games high or drunk. He cares enough about himself and his team not to do that.

Good for Cris, as far as cleaning up his life, but he needs to think about where he has been, too.
