Dr. Wade 'hopeful' T.O. will be OK for playoffs

T.O.'s high ankle sprain will sideline him this weekend in Washington. Everything after that is to be determined.

The best-case scenario is that T.O. is ready to go for the divisional game on Jan. 12 or 13. He'll surely crank up the hyperbaric chamber and do everything else possible to make that a reality. But T.O. playing in the Cowboys' first playoff game is far from a sure thing.

"I'm hopeful," Wade Phillips said, "but I wouldn't say confident."

This is terrible for us

Don't worry. No coach ever spoke the truth about an injury 3 weeks prior to the game. They'll have T.O. in ICU before Wednesday morning. By Friday, he will have attempted suicide

and a non-issue IMHO. I love what T.O. brings to the field, don't get me wrong guys, but anyone that can't see what's going on here is....a little thick in the head. Remember the Super Bowl vs. New England? The man came back from a broken leg and almost single handedly destroyed them. He will milk this for all the PR he can: because he CAN. He'll be fine and come out smokin' three weeks from now. Just silly to dwell on, really. Wade is playing a game with the media and the opposition: who by the way, won't be fooled a bit. 81 will be ready to roll when they tee it up 3 wks. from now.

TO is a proven quick healer and works harder than anyone.

I'm not convinced it is even a high ankle sprain..... Gamesmanship

He played 6 weeks after tearing ligaments in his other ankle. 3 weeks for an ankle sprain(no matter how severe) is nothing for this guy.
