The St. Louis Rams and San Francisco 49ers.

Of course, the Rams (No. 2) and 49ers (No. 10) currently have first round picks. The Cowboys (No. 51) might not draft until 10 p.m.

But here's the most distressing news about ESPN's coverage: Easy Eddie Werder won't be at Valley Ranch either day. He was assigned to cover the Broncos draft in Denver before the Cowboys granted ESPN access. Bob Holtzman will be in Dallas for ESPN. Sorry but no TV type reports on the Cowboys like Easy Ed.

One word for ESPN: "audible."

I'm guessing here, but I have a feeling that Jerry Jones laid down wood with ESPN about how they can only cover the Cowboys if they stop assigning BS-character-journalists to the team. Seems fair! Yes, T.O. was a cancer here, but Werder was an accompanying and accomplicing virus. Since Dallas has cut out the cancer, it only seems fair that ESPN should only be allowed to cover the Cowboys without the virus-journalist types. At the end of the day, ESPN needs the Dallas Cowboys for their ratings more than the Dallas Cowboys need ESPN for theirs. Seems Jones is hammering that home and starting to call the shots a bit more about how ESPN covers the Cowboys. I'm really hoping that this signals the beginning of the Werder-Exile from the Cowbys! After all, this kind of fairness would be a good thing!

Why isn't Ed in Buffalo...or are they afraid of getting the...next question....comment from the team.

Ed will eventually go out of existance of credibility, like Skip Gayness. He'll eventually do afternoon shows, when no one watches

Does ESPN receive exclusive access to Dallas' warroom? Will NFL Network be left with only broadcasting warroom reactions well after-the-fact or not at all? If so, posters who do not watch ESPN, but who are equally curious as to what is happening inside the warroom will be left hanging.

Yep I go back to what I have been saying for months. Do you really think Jerry is gonna be happy with nothing but shots of him and Stephen sitting in executive chairs for eight hours before their pick, with no other face time? He'll trade up, book it.
