The most exciting moment of last night's Miller Lite Silver and Blue Debut (official name for the practice at Texas Stadium) occurred when a knucklehead fan jumped down onto the field and made security look like the Cowboys defense chasing Donovan McNabb on that Monday night play years ago.

I counted six missed tackles. I think poor conditioning caught up to the dude, who appeared to be in his 30s or 40s, because he basically collapsed in a heap when trying to split a couple of Irving cops.

The crowd got a big kick of the show, and so did the players. DE Chris Canty was chanting, "Let him go!" as the guy was getting cuffed.

Wade Phillips and Jerry Jones, two serious football men, were pondering whether the guy could help the Cowboys.

"He looked good," Phillips deadpanned. "If he had gotten through all of them, I think we might have signed him. I know Jerry was looking real hard at him." :

This is why the general public makes me so mad.

The event was free. The parking was free. You could sit where you want. We got to watch a full practice, there were interviews, cheerleaders etc.

And two fans have to go and jump on the field. Morons I hope they get a serious penalty for it. Especially the second one. The first guy that came on the field was a complete tool. Tank johnson and marcus spears were walking towards him like they were going to take him out.

what really amazed me was the crowd cheering them on......i used the occasion to tell the young folks around us what happened when a fan did that and Mike MadDog Curtis of the Baltimore Colts levelled him with a very hard shot.
People like that are part of the reason player/fan interaction is what it is today and why rules had to be created to limit it.

He didnt hurt anyone and got on hard knocks thats what he wanted and entertained the crowd a bit,who cares?take a valium dude.dang.
