Felix Jones practicing

Felix Jones is among the Cowboys practicing at Southlake Carroll's
indoor facility, where giggling schoolgirls are peaking through a gate
and cooing at Tony Romo.

The Cowboys have stretched and worked on punt team and field goals, so
Jones hasn't tested his bruised thigh yet.

SS Gerald Sensabaugh (rib) is also practicing. So is OLB Curtis
Johnson, who had been sidelined by a hamstring injury since being
claimed off waivers last month.

I'm not expecting much from CJ, but I would like to see what he's got. Plus we need a little more depth.

I am, at least to some degree.

I think he can add something to the team's pass rush as well as special teams.

I think it will come down to whether he or Butler can have more of an impact to make the active gameday roster.

I'm curious to see Curtis Johnson play. The staff loved him so much they signed him while he was injured and pretty much guaranteed him a spot on the 53.

My expectations are low, but my dreams are high.:crossed:

Very telling isn't it? I fully expect Curtis Johnson to be the 3rd OLB on the depth chart (pass rush specialist role) by mid season, leapfrogging both Butler and Octavien. Aside from Jason Williams, I am most anxious to see CJohnson (CuJo) on the field.

Johnson will also be an impact player on ST coverage units.

Has anyone actually seen this guy play in an NFL game? I keep hearing all these positives but I think we've seen in the past our coaches praise a player and then they disappear. (insert Carpenter here).
