Dan Benton, one of the geniuses behind Giants 101, interviews an "enemy blogger" for AOL FanHouse before each game. I had the honor this week. Here are the questions:

1. Sometimes, things happen in an athlete's career that they are never able to overcome. Do you think Tony Romo has really moved on from his season-ending fumble?

2. Is Terrell Owens really the team cancer that everyone says he is?

3. Honestly, does Eli Manning scare you? You can admit it.

4. How many Dallas Cowboys will it take to tackle Brandon Jacobs? (And no, you can't just say Roy Williams. He can't even take on Ahman Green by himself.)

5. Prediction time! How many points will the Giants win by?

You can check out my answers here. Feel free to provide your own.

Giants Behind Dallas Lines: Five Questions With an Enemy Blogger

This is a modified segment of one that ran on NFL FanHouse last year, in which a specific team blogger scours the internet and interviews a blogger of the opposing team.

I began this season by interviewing Tim MacMahon of the Dallas Morning News, who runs one of the few credentialed Cowboys blogs out there.

Dan Benton: "Sometimes, things happen in an athlete's career that they are never able to overcome. Do you think Tony Romo has really moved on from his season-ending fumble?"
Tim MacMahon: "Six months of snuggling with Carrie Underwood can work wonders for a man's psyche. There are plenty of questions about Tony Romo, beginning with whether he became just a guy after the league got some film on him. But he has plenty of genuine swagger. One of Wade Phillips' first moves was to fire Romo as the holder, so he won't have any chances to relive the Seattle Slip."
DB: "Is Terrell Owens really the team cancer that everyone says he is?"
MacMahon: "T.O. has actually consistently been on his best behavior since the beginning of training camp with the exception of being tardy to one practice. He's caused no problems whatsoever in the locker room. He gets an A in citizenship since The Coach departed Dallas. As a member of the sensationalizing media, I'm extremely disappointed."
[Post-interview Note: I guess his "I'd prefer Donovan McNabb and Peyton Manning to Tony Romo" thing didn't count.]

DB: "Honestly, does Eli Manning scare you? You can admit it."
MacMahon: "Any quarterback foolish enough to whine his way off a team that has LaDainian Tomlinson is pretty scary. And any quarterback, period, should scare the Cowboys' secondary if Terence Newman doesn't play."
DB: "How many Dallas Cowboys will it take to tackle Brandon Jacobs? (And no, you can't just say Roy Williams. He can't even take on Ahman Green by himself.)"
MacMahon: "Not sure the Cowboys will need to tackle Jacobs too often. Judging by his comments this week, he'll trip over his big mouth a lot."
DB: "Prediction time! How many points will the Giants win by?"
MacMahon: "Are you asking about the Giants' first win of the season? They'll beat the Falcons by a touchdown in Week 6."
A special thanks to Tim for taking the time! He's a very funny guy, and I look forward to doing more of these with him this year. Again, you can read his [credentialed] Cowboys coverage over at the Dallas Morning News.

I truly believe that because Romo's fumble was a non-QB event that he is able to move on...... otherwise it would haunt... it would haunt most....
