Reese can say anything he wants and he can back it up with with a newly-won ring. The Giants owe Dallas no consideration - none at all.

Does it bother me? Yes. But, from Jerry on down to the towel boy, I hope it bothers the Cowboys a whole lot more.

The guy is the Giants' GM, what did people expect him to say? That he thought Dallas would be the team to beat? Yeah, that would go over real well with his team.
