If he elects not to have surgery it is just a question of when his shoulder dislocates again, not if given his age and profession. He should go ahead and have the surgery and can continue to work in the film room and later on in the season can work on footwork/routes in rehab.

Kosier is the weak link. why not give LAllen a call?

I hope you are joking, if not I highly recommend seeking immediate medical attention.

I don't think we should complain about injuries right now.

We've been darn fortunate.

How much time are we willing to give Stanback before we realise he is what he is an injury prone receiver who won't ever develop to his potential because he can't stay on the field. The article says he has 2 choices. Now if you tell me an already injury prone receiver is gonna play all year with a harness on his shoulder, I can't see that happening. The other choice is having year ending surgery, another year where he misses playing against real bullets and he's supposed to get better by next year, right. Mind you its not like this guy is showing us he has #1 potential. I think a lot of people are fooling themselves as well as wasting time thinking this guy will be more than what he is already. A QB trying to play WR who can't stay healthy to see if he can contribute anything to this team.

I love Austin and Hurd as future stars for this team but I also think we need to quit playing around and give anyone of these guys a shot for next year. In other words stop trying to make a WR, just try drafting one.

I think we are ok as far as injuries. It isn't an ideal situation, but look at what happened to the Giants last night. We just need our other players to step up. It isn't like they are gonna be gone for the whole season.

anyone know how long Spencer is out? That is the biggest injury out of all of them imo (assuming Newman comes back this week)

I haven't seen anything definitive.

Of course, each injury to each player is unique, so it's silly to try and find a definitive prognosis.

But Spencer should be back fairly early, maybe missing week one or two.

He needn't be hasty, being on the field in January is more important than September.
