Denver has the No. 1 ranked defense. The Broncos have allowed only one touchdownn in three games. Elvis Dumervil has six sacks. It's all good stuff.

But two of the games have come against Cleveland and Oakland.

Are they really that good?

"I think they're really tht good," tight end Jason Witten said. " I think in the secondary they're as good as we've seen with Champ Bailey and then with [Brian] Dawkins back there. They're comfortable with what they're doing. That 3-4 gives you a lot of different looks. It's at home. They're getting a lot of sacks, a lot of pressure. It's going to be a tough matchup for us."

And Tony Romo's response?

"They run around," Romo said. "They do a lot of stuff defensively. They're a little like the Ravens in some ways with what they do. I think that's been a big reason why their team is off to the start they are."

I think I just found my new sig line.

Denver has found the key.

You can't simply walk around on defense in today's NFL.

Exactly. You can't just walk around and do nothing. You have to run around and do stuff.

lol @ Witten and Romo's generic answers. I'd rather someone say no they are frauds.

The only Denver game I saw this year was that miracle they won against Cinncinati.

So, their record is 3-0 no doubt but they by all rights should be 2-1.

Cleveland and Oakland - bleh.

They can prove to me how good they are on Sunday I guess.

Denvers found the key alright. Shedule the browns, bengals, and the raiders to start every season.

I check out how they graded out on Pro Football Focus, and it wasn't all good.

Who knows whether that is significant, but I have some doubts that they will be up for the challenge that Dallas will offer.

Since I take no game for granted I look at Denver for what they are and that is a 3-0 team. They deserve it because they went out and won the games. This does not mean there are no question marks on Denver and this part of their schedule starting with Dallas will help ansewer those question for Denver good or bad.

Green bay and Pitt played Cinn as well they both left the field with a L

Having watched every game for both teams, I'll say that Denver is better than a lot of Cowboys fans think and worse than a lot of Broncos fans think.

I will give you that the bengals are better than the browns or raiders but green bay hasn't shown much this year and since palamalu got hurt the steelers d looks off, and their offense was never anything to write home about.

So the bengals are 3-0. Whoopee. I take more issue with ther fanbase touting thus #1 d in the league crap. It's nonsense when you've played the three teams they've played. They were 32nd in the league last year. There is no way on earth they finish in the top half of the league this year.

You are probably dead on with this assessment.

That's usually the case for most teams.

I'm not buying Denver now at all. For those who do I submit the following. The Broncos next 5 games: Dallas, New England, @ San Diego, @ Baltimore and Pittsburgh. I see a 3-5 midseason recrod in their near future and a fan base (including those who believe now) a little more in touch with how good that team really is.

Last year is over. Cards did not do much in 07 and went to the SB in 08. What any team did last year is over with this is a new year. I'm not claiming Denver as the greatest team in the NFL but it is fact they are 3-0 no matter who you play it is the NFL and it still takes a team going out and executing to win and Denver did that.

As for the trash talking being done by their fan I could careless about that they are touting their team all I care about is Dallas going out to Denver focused and ready to play football, if our guys do that I like our chances because I think we have a pretty good team of our own

Denver starts off 3-0, ends up 7-9, Chargers sneak in at 9-7. Broncos are NOT that good. Browns and Raiders just suck. I bet even the Raiders beat them at denver again like they have the last two years.
