If a team wants to make a run at Miles Austin in restricted free agency, they now know they would have to part with their first- and third-round picks for the Pro Bowl wide receiver.
Owner and general manager Jerry Jones has said signing Austin to a long-term deal is a top priority this off-season When the Cowboys make things a priority, they usually get a deal done with DeMarcus Ware being an example last year.
Austin caught 81 passes for 1,320 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2009.
As a restricted free agent last year, the Cowboys gave him the second-round tender worth $1.545 million. The New York Jets had him up for a visit but did not make him an offer.
