DMN Blog: Jeff Fisher fired up about the "everyone" cheats perception

Agreed. The NFL will survive this and it will fade.
The Pats wont be so lucky.

A MAJOR hit on the dynasty.

The worst thing that could happen to the them was losing by 3pts

I don't see a major effect on the Pats, some will say well their SB don't count that will be their opinion and not shared by all. 2008 Pats still should be a quality team competing for a return trip to the SB. I clearly do not see the Pats falling given the talent on that team and should they go out in 2008 and win the SB I think the many will recognize the Pats as one of the great teams in NFL history.

It will at the very least be debatable.

The last great dynasty was the Cowboys... not the Pats.

Said a Cowboys fan. :lmao: I love my Cowboys and really don't care for the Pats one way or the other but it just come off as such a homer response. I also think of myself as a fan of football and the Pats are every bit a championship quality team as the Packers of the 60, the Steeler or the 70's the 9ers of the 80's and the Cowboys of the 90's

Understand, he is very bitter at the Pats because of their cheating. And, frankly, I don't blame him.

Nevertheless, they still won those Super Bowls. And regardless the cloud that surrounds those victories, they still possess three Super Bowl wins, more than any team in this decade. And that qualifies them as the team of the decade - though I sure hope they don't win another.

And, yes, that's the homer in me talking. :D

When it comes to not wanting them to win another I agree in all homerness.

When it comes to not wanting them to win another I agree in all homerness. I pulled for the Giants and was glad to see the Pats fans dissapointed but there is still a football fan inside who still can see greatness in other teams besides my own.
