Just one session today. Refresh repeatedly for updates.

10:49 -- The specials teams portion of practice just ended. They were working on punting from midfield, with Mat McBriar pooching 'em end-over-end style. All the punts weren't pretty, with some landing around the 15. There was one beauty that gunner Alan Ball athletically saved from bouncing into the end zone. ... LB Matt Stewart worked some as the backup deep snapper. He made McBriar go low and to his right to field one snap. ... Warm-up position drills now.

10:54 -- No sign of Felix Jones (calf contusion). Undrafted WR Kevin Ogletree, who had been working as the No. 3 receiver with Miles Austin and Sam Hurd sidelined, is also missing. He injured his knee yesterday. We'll get an update on the severity of his injury later.

10:58 -- Stretching just ended. Defense breaking into position drills. Offense running plays vs. air.

10:59 -- Jones and Ogletree aren't with the rest of the injured guys working off to the side. The guys who are over there: Sam Hurd (quad), Miles Austin (hamstring), Justin Rogers (knee), Rodney Hannah (hand), Kyle Kosier (foot) and Isaiah Stanback (knee).

11:06 -- LBs are doing a drill whenere they high-step over some blocking pads on the ground, go into a pass drop and catch a ball. DeMarcus Ware is taking it pretty seriously. He was perturbed when he didn't catch the ball, picking it up and slamming it one the ground. ... Sixth-round pick LB Stephen Hodge (calf) isn't practicing again.

11:12 -- Still doing non-competitive position drills. DBs are working on various ball skills drills. ... QBs, WRs and TEs are running routes vs. air.

11:15 -- Coachable WR Roy Williams, who usually has sure hands, drop a deep ball from Jon Kitna that hit him in stride. ... Team drills about to start.

11:18 -- Another sign of the Romo-Williams relationship being a work in progress: On the first passing play, a bootleg to the right, Romo pointed where he wanted Williams to be while he was working across the middle. Romo then dumped the ball off to Martellus Bennett in the flat. .... Jon Kitna tried to hit Mike Jefferson on a post. Orlando Scandrick broke it up. He should drop and do 10 push-ups for not catching the ball, something the DBs usually do when they drop a pick.

11:22 -- DeMarcus Ware would have had a strip-sack on Stephen McGee after blowing by third-team LT Michael Turkovich untouched. McGee's pass to Julian Hawkins had no chance to be complete, because Terence Newman was all over him.

11:24 -- Team drills are over. I reckon there'd been some good-natured trash talk between Roy Williams and Terence Newman. During the break, Newman lined up like a LT with Williams as a DE. Williams tried to beat him with an inside move. Looks like he could use some tips from DL coach Todd Grantham. .... 7-on-7 starting with the big guys doing position drills.

11:29 -- Tashard Choice looks smooth catching the ball. He just snagged a wheel route from Tony Romo without breaking stride. ... One seventh-rounder beat another seventh-rounder on a go route. Manny Johnson got a step on Mike Mickens. While Jon Kitna's throw was in the air, Mickens recovered but never turned his head around to find the ball. Johnson made the tough catch. ... Martellus Bennett and Kitna weren't on the same page the next play. Bennett ran an out-and-up. Kitna threw an out.

11:35 -- Tough few minutes for Marty B. He just dropped a short pass from Romo. ... Patrick Crayton has quietly had a solid off-season. He just got good separation from Mickens on an out route. ... Mickens came back a couple plays later to knock down a Romo pass to No. 81 (Mike Jefferson).

11:38 -- Kitna hit sixth-round TE John Phillips on a seam route in front of fifth-round FS DeAngelo Smith. ... Kitna, showing off his arm strength, went downfield the next play, too. CB Michael Hawkins blanketed WR Julian Hawkins on the go route. ... Team drills over.

11:42 -- Back with some more team drill action after the break. ... First-team O vs. second-team D from the 50, with the chain gang working.

11:44 -- Crayton got good separation from Mickens again. This one was an intermediate crossing route. ... Romo to Witten on an out. ... Bobby Carpenter blew up a running play by shooting the gap on LG Montrae Holland.

11:48 -- Drive ended with a drop in the flat by Tashard Choice. Romo's pass was thrown slightly behind Choice, who was being covered by DE Jason Hatcher (a few steps behind) for some strange reason. ... Second-team O vs. first-team D now.

11:53 -- It's the Alonzo Coleman show. The veteran practice squad RB has caught passes on two straight plays: a screen for a decent gain and a short swing pass.

11:55 -- The drive ended with Martellus Bennett getting wide open on an out for a 5-yard TD from Kitna. He beat S Jerome Carter. The third-team D played the last half of the drive.

11:56 -- It looked like Stephen McGee threw a deep ball into triple coverage. But Gerald Sensabaugh jumped in from the sideline to try to track down the overthrow. ... McGee's next pass sailed high over Willie Reid's head on an out route.

12:00 -- Blitzing LB Bradie James batted McGee's pass back in his face. ... First-team O about to get some more work.

12:02 -- Things have definitely picked up for Martellus Bennett late in practice. He got wide open on a seam route for a 60-yard gain to the 10. Without getting too specific, the defense got in a bind because Witten, Williams and Bennett were all lined up on the same side of the field.

12:05 -- Another TD for Marty B. This one was a 5-yarder across the middle on a Romo bullet. Bennett celebrated with a little shoulder shimmy in the end zone. We just saw two things Marty B can bring to the offense: a big-play threat and a big red-zone target.

12:07 -- Bobby Carpenter brought TE John Phillips to the turf to keep him from catching a ball across the middle. Carpenter doesn't look like a finesse player during a padless minicamp. ... Dave Campo delivers a high five to Newman after No. 41 blankets Mike Jefferson and breaks up a pass. .... Seventh-rounder Manny Johnson beat Mike Jenkins on a curl and hook on consecutive play. Offensive guys on the sideline are doing all sorts of hollering. ... DeMarcus Ware blew by Doug Free so fast that he beat Jon Kitna to his drop.

12:10 -- Another catch for Johnson on Jenkins, this one an intermediate out. ... Gotta go. Practice over.

Maybe Manny Johnson can play? Sounds like he was doing pretty well against Jenkins.

I wouldn't be worried since Ware does whatever he wants against anyone most of the time.
