The contract talks between the Cowboys and Eugene Parker, who represents running back Felix Jones, should be interesting when they heat up this summer.
Why?
Last year's 22nd pick was Brady Quinn, who signed a five-year, $20.2 million deal with $7.75 million guaranteed with Cleveland with the Cowboys' pick. Last year's 21st pick, Reggie Nelson got a five-year, $9.55 million deal with $7.1 million guaranteed.
Teams hate it when a quarterback is drafted in their slot from the previous year because quarterbacks always get more than the player in front of him.
Parker, who was Deion Sanders' agent and has a good working relationship with the Cowboys, also represents the Cowboys' other No. 1, Mike Jenkins.
