Now that we have established that Marion Barber is a nice guy who just doesn't like to talk to notepads and mini-cams, let's look at the Cowboys who have no problem chatting with the media.

I'm asking several media super stars who they like to talk to and why. My question is simple:

Name the three best interviews among Cowboys players?

Easy Eddie Werder, ESPN TV
1. Patrick Crayton -- "Always offers color and emotion."
2. Jason Witten -- "Probably the only guy in the league incapable of lying."
3. Terence Newman -- "Candid and insightful."

Brad Sham, Cowboys radio voice
1. Bradie James -- "Smart."
2. Mile Austin -- "Refreshing."
3. Andre Gurode -- "Engaging with a sense of humor."

Jacques Taylor, SportsDay columnist, former Cowboys beat writer*
1. Keith Davis -- "Incredibly honest."
2. Greg Ellis -- "Thoughtful."
3. Patrick Crayton -- "Raw, Eddie Murphy-like raw."

* Taylor was also kind enough to volunteer his two worst:
1. Tony Romo -- "Has acquired starting quarterback cliche disease."
2. Marion Barber -- "Just not interested. Could be good if he wanted to be."

And many thanks to a loyal reader who passed along the photo of Marion Barber interviewing Larry Fitzgerald at Barber's camp. Maybe MBIII simply likes asking more than answering.

The fact that Barber is such a "recluse" as far as speaking to the media goes, kind of creates a type of mystery about him. That in turn makes him more interesting to most people. Everyone wants to be the one to finally talk to Barber at length.

It's kind of like the Axl Rose and the Chinese Democracy deal. After 14 years, the album is finally coming out on Sunday, and no one has heard a word from Rose. It creates a mystery about him and everyone wants to be the first one to interview him.

It's kind of refreshing compared to all the celebrities and athletes who search out the camera and spew garbage.

He could be good at what? Talking to the media? Please. I like guys who answer questions well, but I have no problem with MB3 keeping to himself.

There's a Youtube video of this and here it is:
