Cornerback Mike Jenkins had an electrical stimulation machine strapped to his left biceps for treatment, but he said he was fine and will play Thursday vs. Oakland.
Jenkins said he aggravated the injury Sunday vs. Washington when he took a knee to the arm while making a tackle.
When I suggested he not make a tackle that way, he laughed.
"I tried to switch it up but I hit my head," Jenkins said.
He was referring to the fourth quarter tackle on Rock Cartwright when he and Bradie James sandwiched the Commanders running back. Jenkins said he was a little "blurry" for a second but it cleared up quickly.
Center Andre Gurode said his sprained right ankle was OK and will not limit him this week.

Coach Wade Phillips said new right tackle Doug Free, filling in for Marc Colombo, and free safety Alan Ball, filling in for Ken Hamlin, played well Sunday vs. Washington.
"They weren't perfect, but I thought both of them filled in well enough certainly that you wouldn't say, 'Hey, they've got a weakness there looking at us on tape,'" Phillips said. "I don't believe Oakland is going to say, 'We're goingto attack the right tackle because he's not good enough to play,' that kind of thing. The same thing with Alan Ball. I thought both of them played pretty well. They did some things that other guys in that position hadn't done as well. Now they did some things that they can improve on and they did make some mistakes, but I think playing another week and both of them starting at that position."
