More exciting T.O. and Glenn analysis
I'm the kind of guy that likes to run up the score, so I went to footballoutsiders.com searching for more ammo after kicking Calvin "Lucky" Watkins' butt in the yesterday's T.O.-Terry Glenn debate.
Perhaps I should have left well enough alone. T.O. barely beat Glenn last season in DPAR, a complicated formula that is a mighty fine gauge of a player's production. I will point out, however, that Glenn had one of his best seasons and T.O. had a down year by his standards.
T.O. and Glenn ranked eighth and ninth, respectively, making them one of four top-10 tandems. The others: the Colts' Reggie Wayne and Marvin Harrison, the Bengals' Chad Johnson and T.J. Houshmandzadeh and the Lions' Roy Williams and star-bustin' Mike Furrey.
I expect Glenn, who benefits big time from all the attention defenses pay T.O., to have another good year. I smell a monster year coming from T.O., who might make me look like a fool for trusting him. I just think Bill Parcells has done the Cowboys a tremendous favor by bad-mouthing T.O. and giving him motivation to make the Tuna look like a bitter bonehead.

JJT calls poppycock on Parcells
Superstar columnist Jean-Jacques Taylor writes in the weekly newsletter that Bill Parcells controlled every facet of the organization during his time in Valley Ranch. If he didn't OK a move, it didn't happen. Including signing T.O.
Parcells' recent comment claiming T.O. was forced on him is a bunch of bullstuff. JJT calls it "poppycock," a fun word I've never before used in a sentence.
The New Jersey Con Man, to borrow a nickname from our pals at The Ticket, is trying to shift blame for a four-year tenure that fell way short of the standards set by him and the Cowboys. The Tuna can do that with his New York pals, but JJT ain't gonna let it happen around these parts.
