More trouble for Quincy Carter

Former Cowboys quarterback Quincy Carter was charged with marijuana possession in Shreveport, La., according to a statement from the Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wings, the team for which Carter played in arenafootball2 this season.

Will these pro-athletes ever learn? Youv'e got everything handed to you but you still want to do illegal crap? I think the NFL should start having mandatory Phsyc evaluations before each draft.

this guy is ridiculous, should ban him from all football, i dont think he will ever get his life straight.:bang2:

We needed something to lighten the mood with all this talk of impending defeat and players blowing up and stuff.
:lmao2:

The Quincter marches on, into oblivion.

Not sure how banning him from football will solve his problems.

It is sad because regardless of his problems and the fact he was not the most talented individual around, he won ten games in 2003 the first and only guy to do that for us since Aikman (Romo will this year but that is a different story).

He just blew it.

Thank God, this guy is gone from here, Bill Parcells was right, we can't trust him.

It's all the Cowboys fault that he is the way he is...at least that's what he tries to pawn off to everyone...

Poor Crankcase...one bad misstep and he could be a cellie with Ron Mexico!

Reminds me of Jason Campbell. He hasn't been busted yet, but I saw him smoking weed behind a 7-11 once.

His day will come....his day will come.

I only tried a few times in my life so I am not a proponent of it....

but it was weed.... BIG deal.... alot of people do it...

True, alot of people do it, but it's against the rules in football and the law. As a matter of fact...if I had a needle I would shoot some up right now! (except those damn seeds keep clogging up the needle)!! :bang2:

I just don't get it. The window of opportunity for being a professional athlete is incredibly small. Once your career is over and the money is stashed in the bank, you can smoke all the weed you like. But for some reason they gotta smoke it now, when it can do the most damage and deny them riches. Like I said, I just don't get it.

This is apparently felony possession. there's usually an element of intent to distribute mixed in there with felony possession.

A lot of people don't do that.

Football doesn't need to ban Quincy...that has been accomplished on it's own from the moron himself.

And we won because we surprised everyone. Kinda like a mini New Orleans last year. Quincy, like most of the players on that team were only there for the ride. Quincy didn't win ten games, the team did. Maybe more like Parcells won those ten games.

It obviously is a BIG deal. He has become a total loser because of it.

A lot more people DON'T do it. And the line... "but it was weed...BIG deal.... alot of people do it..." sounds like a child defending his actions, not an adult that knows better.

when something is ILLEGAL it does not matter what YOU think. Wonder why that is so hard for SOME to understand?
