Yep its all romos fault.

Brilliant.

So if your taking dukes opinions as gold, I am curious why you blame garrett for roy williams lack of production here.

Dukes said he is and is known all around the league as one of the laziest people in the league.

So interesting. We have the laziest wr opposite the greatest, while the coordinator suck and the qb stinks.

HMMM

One of those things is not like the other? Gee I wonder what.

I'm just curious why all the sudden the media can be believed.
Any guess Mr Theebes?

The issue to me is the offensive philosophy. It needs to be geared toward run first and often. If TO will understand he is no longer #1 option then keep him, if not cut him asap.

Winning will cure all...

and for that to happen....Romo must stop acting like Scott Mitchell....that and

Garrett has to put players in position to succeed
The OL has to get better coaching and play up to their abilities
WR's have to run better routes.
Barber has to hold on to the ball better.

On defense.

We need better interior LB play IMHO
and we surely need Hamlin to step up and we need another good safety.

But most important ....this team needs some serious leaders...and they need
to stop shedding bad light upon themselves with stupid interviews and playing the blame game.
JMHO :)

romo just needs to step up and be the leader he is suppose to be

babe said from what he could tell, it seemed like romo was trying to back away from talking about T O etc, because when ex qbs that played with T O in phily or 49ers, it backfired on them,

also, babe said, romo isnt there yet, as the leader of this team yet, he thinks he can be, but not there yet

gee, to me, this is like romos 4th year, romo needs to take the bull by the horns and be the leader of this team on offense

This is the best post in the thread. No contest. Nice take. I agree with every word of it.

If Romo plays better at the end of the season(s), this is a non issue.

How dare Owens complain about upper management? I mean, who does he think he is? A future HOF wide receiver calling out an offensive coordinator in only his second season that hasn't accomplished anything? Owens needs to be cut imeeggiately!!!1111!!
same thing those with sense on this board has been saying.

no one can say anything owens has really done that warrants all this backlash and blame. someone always has to get blamed when things go wrong and T.O. is an easy target.

Do I ever say that TO is the only problem? No.

Do I think he is part of the problem? Yes.

how did TO become the problem. He wasnt the problem last year. He still put up great numbers (for the quarterbacking he had this year)

its all of the above,
the players, all of them, the coaches, and jerry jones

as the old saying goes, its a team thing

so its the whole team, organization, players, coaches, all of the above

And I'm sure you woulnd't mind the same standard be applied to all 53 players, because I saw the line suck, the receivers suck and the defense suck in the last few games.

If you want to single Romo out and hold him to a different standard--well your agenda is observed by all.

The enemies of Romo are the ones who are busy defending the cancer.

And just like Owens did in S.F. and Philly--he is trying (and succeeding) in trying to tear down the leader/quarterback of the team.

So predictable.

More proof there are fools born every minute who will be dupes of cancerous leaders like Owens. More proof he needs to be shown the door marked with the letters, E-X-I-T.

ROFL.

I don't care whether we keep Owens or cut him. I just want the organization to decide now, and let us move forward.

And in fact, if anything, I've been sliding s-l-o-w-l-y towards the "maybe its time we move on without him" crowd

LOL. I thought you had identified with that contingent long ago? I could be wrong though.

Nope.

I was on the "keep Owens" group.

Then I moved to the "I don't really care. The organization just needs to make a decision" movement.

I took a step towards the "cut Owens" group lately. There's still probably another hundred steps or so to go in that direction before I am in that group.
