Interim executive director of the NFL Players Association Richard Berthelsen said the union has been in contact with the representatives of Adam Jones but a decision on whether to appeal the indefinite suspension handed down earlier in the week has not been made yet by Jones.

"Anytime there's a suspension it can be appealed," said Berthelsen, who was visiting Valley Ranch to meet with the players after Thursday's practice. "We've been in touch with his people and we are helping him in whatever way we can."
