Jerry Jones did not appear this a.m., as he is usually scheduled to do, with Dunham and Miller on the Ticket. The Ticket guys had promoted the idea of asking Jones about the Marion Barber "toughness" situation. Just got off the phone with the Ticket and Jones did call in briefly while the station was in a break during the 8 a.m. hour. But for some reason, the appearance never came off. The station, as I mentioned was in a break, and Jones was unable to reschedule for later in the show. The intent, I believe, is to get Jones on Thursday morning.
Maybe on Thursday nobody will have any more questions about Barber's "toughness," but having been around Jones on Sunday after the game when he was asked at least once about Barber, I can tell you he never explicitly questioned "toughness." Was he perturbed Barber didn't play? You bet. But, as a guy who has spent a lot of time watching him from afar, I can only imagine this guy is an emotional owner, who just suffered a stunning loss. My best (potentially uninformed guess): He simply misspoke out of disappointment and left him self open to be questioned about potentially questioning Barber.
