The Cowboys might be the most popular non-playoff team in NFL history.

Five Cowboys made the list of the top 20 jersey sellers in the NFL this season. No other team had more than two. Brett Favre's No. 4 was No. 1 (Jets) and No. 13 (Packers).

7. Jason Witten
12. Terrell Owens
16. DeMarcus Ware

I bought a white DeMarcus Ware this year and my son has the all-black Tony Romo and a blue Marion Barber. He also got a USC 58 (Rey Maualuga) this year and wants a Maualuga NFL jersey once he gets drafted, so my money is pretty much gone too.

I've purchased a ton of jerseys this year.

Other than that list, I bought Jason Witten, Zach Thomas, Felix Jones, and WR Roy Williams too.

Thankfully, I couldn't pull the trigger on a Pacman Jones jersey (no pun intended).

The week of christmas we sold 7 shipments worth in 3 days. We kept rush ordering, and doing everything we could to get them

I would wager there aren't a lot of Matt Ryan jerseys sold outside of Georgia. The Falcons don't have much of a national following. Some years, they don't have a lot of Georgia following either.

thats only in atlanta. brady still sold more jersey this year while injured than ryan did in boston where he played college is my guess.

they cant keep romo jerseys in stock in new jersey or peoria illinois.

Packers drop in merchandise sales

The Green Bay Packers dropped from fifth to ninth in terms of team merchandise sold on NFLShop.com from April 1 through the end of 2008.

SportsBusiness Daily reports this morning that the Dallas Cowboys remained atop the league in terms of team merchandise sold.

Brett Favre of the Jets ranked first in the league in terms of jerseys sold on NFLShop.com. Tony Romo, the Cowboys' quarterback, was ranked second.
