** Jason Witten caught 10 passes for 98 yards, which were both playoff career highs.
It was the second-best statistical day for a tight end in Cowboys' playoff history. Jay Novacek had 11 catches for 108 yards against Green Bay on Jan. 8, 1995. Witten has 28 catches for 293 yards in four playoff games. His catches are 11th all-time in team playoff history and he is 12th in yards.
** With his first-quarter sack, DeMarcus Ware has four in his post-season career, tying him with Chad Hennings, Leon Lett and Russell Maryland for fourth-most since sacks became an official stat in 1982.
** Safety Pat Watkins was active for the first time since Dec. 13 against San Diego because of a knee injury. He aggravated the injury Sunday but said after the game he was fine and would not need surgery.
** Mat McBriar had two of his three punts downed inside the Minnesota 20, giving him 10 for his postseason career, which is the most in team playoff history. Ten of McBriar's 18 playoff punts have been downed inside the 20.
** The only unrestricted free agent on the roster is guard Montrae Holland, who was inactive for every game. Wide receiver Miles Austin, cornerback Alan Ball, defensive end Stephen Bowen, defensive end Jason Hatcher, wide receiver Sam Hurd, tackle Pat McQuistan, center Duke Preston, center Cory Procter, safety Gerald Sensabaugh, nose tackle Junior Siavii, defensive end Marcus Spears, kicker Shaun Suisham and safety Pat Watkins are restricted free agents. Still checking on the status of cornerback Cletis Gordon and linebacker Steve Octavien.
** Players will have exit interviews with the coaches and the medical staff Monday

Jerry Jones did not expect to lose this way Sunday, but he was taking a bigger picture view of the season after the 34-3 loss in the divisional round to Minnesota.
"Totally different feeling than I felt from our last ballgame at this time last year on the road," Jones said. "We had more success than I think generally we were expecting to have. I'm proud of these guys. They did improve continuously. This shows that if you go on the road and pay a team like this and has good players and has a quarterback like Brett Favre that we didn't have enough.
I'm not discouraged in any way in where we're going. We made significant improvement and we'll build off the positives. This was disappointing ... I think we'll just again take the positives that we had, the positives that our staff has and I'm not going to get into the staff tonight but I feel and felt good coming into this game. I'm not discouraged. I'm disappointed."
