We talked about Doug Free late last week and his work against pass rushers like Washington's Andre Carter and Chicago's Julius Peppers in the first two weeks.

Neither guy had a sack in the first two games, working mostly against Free.
Sunday's test was Houston's Mario Williams, who entered with four sacks. Williams still has four sacks.

Once again, Free got the job done.

Any time you go on the road pass 30 times with no sacks and very little pressure, the OLine deserves a lot of credit.

Free and Colombo did such a great job on Mario that I forgot he was even playing...that's a real compliment to the both of them. Romo also seemed to have quite a lot of time in the pocket, with very little pressure coming from the outside. Zero sacks and only a few hits and pressures...OUTSTANDING job by both of our tackles today!

Free is doing fine...and did fine last year when he was in there. Yet week after week, the mediots and some on here seem to be overly concerned about him....to me he's one of them that I don't worry too much about.

Yes, except Free's excellent play hasn't surprised me.

I'm just happy to see Colombo has rounded back into form. I was really concerned about him after his horrid play against the Vikings in the playoffs and that horrible preseason start against the Raiders followed by another leg injury requiring surgery.

If the OL plays just slightly above average, we should put up over 400 points this year.

Well, Free has not made me miss Flozell, I can tell you that!

On the other hand. Flozell did the best he could for this team in the time he did have here.

I thought the oline over all did a great job. They managed to open up some holes so that we could have success running the ball and they were able to give Romo some time to make plays

Both tackles did a really nice job in keeping Mario Williams a non-factor in this game.
