Patrick Crayton on trash talk etiquette

Patrick Crayton has been known to talk a little trash in his day.

Ask the New York Giants.

So, what does he think of DeSean Jackson's jabs at the Cowboys on Twitter and UStream?

"I don't think he realizes what's coming,'' Crayton said. "It's different when you get that at home. When you've got to turn right back around and come down to our house for a defense you haven't done anything against...

"It will be a nice game on Saturday night.''

Patrick Crayton is spitting mad

The Philadelphia Eagles web site director has apologized for a video he shot in which he spit on the star at Cowboys Stadium.

Receiver Patrick Crayton was asked what he thought of the episode.

"Not once, but twice,'' Crayton said of the number of times the Eagles employee spit on the star. "I don't know if he was trying to get some attention.

"I don't even know what the repercussions are, what the Philly people did to him, the owner and everything. I don't know if he's been fired or fined or anything. If there was no action, then that let's you know what the owner of Philly and the people up there think about it as well.''

During the off-season, the organization fired a stadium employee for posting his feelings about Brian Dawkins' departure on Facebook. Crayton was aware of that incident.

"My thing is, if they fired a guy over ******* (actually Facebook) over a former player, and this guy comes down here and spits on another team's logo and nothing is done about that, it let's us know what Philly thinks about it.''

Exactly.

Crayton's right. That guy that was fired for talking about Dawkins is nothing compared to this. This guy works for the organization, he's a representative of the organization. We know the fans and team are are trash, but if this guy doesn't get fired, it'll shows just how low-class the EGirls organization really is

One is criticizing your employer in public.

Direct. Intent.

The other is dissing the Cowboys.

Indirect. No intent.

They should not have fired either guy.

Why? He is not saying anything Dallas has not already done... Why can other teams players talk smack but not ours?

I agree with this. Tho I do think what they both did should've warranted some kind of internal punishment.

Because it is fun being sanctimonious.

There is zero wrong with what Crayton said.

The scumbag shouldn't get fired but definitely reprimanded.

Bc we're stooping to Philly's level. Let the Eagles and their city be low class; why should we have to go down to their level? Take the high road like Jenkins has.

Actually what Jenkins said and even Bradie said was alot closer to trash talking than what Crayton said.

Hopefully our guys won't be too caught up with this.

Why shouldn't he get fired? He admitted that he had done it before, this time he got caught cold by his own stupidity. He deserves to be fired. The other I don't know his history, but he probably should have gotten fired too.

If a reporter for a newspaper got caught doing it they would be fired. Is this a real journalist? Does he want to be treated like a real journalist?

is "Bungarian" short for "bunghole"?

On the Other hand they should atleast take a note of this. The game is half physical , half emotional , when you take it personal you give it your all. Only thing they have to do this do the talking on the field with their play and not out of it.;)

My point is this guy wants to be treated like a real journalist but is really just a fan. Cannot be treated like a real journalist and do things like that. He has zero credibility in the media now.

Mickey Spagnola interviews other team players sometimes. How will this guy ever be able to get an interview with a Cowboy player?
