Kircus among a group working out

The Cowboys had a large group of players in to work out, with an eye on futures deals, and the headliner among them was former Lions and Broncos WR David Kircus.
Kircus, 27, was cut by the Broncos at the end of August, something the team said had nothing to do with legal issues stemming from an assault charge. The Ravens, Browns and Texans have all worked out Kircus, but he hasn't been able to catch on, after a 2006 season in which he caught nine passes for 187 yards and returned six punts for 86 yards in Denver.
Also in were former Kansas State defensive end Tearrius George, TE Rudy Sylvan, former Mizzou WR Brad Ekwerekwu, and WR Jermaine Jamison.
