Not that it's a surprise, but WR Terrell Owens was the only player to miss practice today, held inside the field house in shorts and shoulder pads.

WR Terry Glenn was in sweats and a helmet again, with the schedule calling for his return to full work this week.

Being suited up as they were for the second straight day, after a month in shells or sweats, allowed for a little more contact during the media period. We saw some running game "middle" drills with the offensive linemen working on things at speed much closer to "full" than has been seen during our access in a while.

This is the week to get back to the fundamentals. Next week when they know who they will face they can put together a game plan this week though is the week to sharpen up on the basics.

They could spend the next week and a half in tackling drills and I'd be happier.

Special teams and the lb/safety tackling has been less than stellar in the past few games.

Main thing is they are doing it now. Once we know who we play this team will focus in on the game plan. To me that is the big benifet to the bye other than allowing time for players who are nursing injuries. This time allows coaches to go back and work on things that they don't spend much time on during a reg week of practice.

this is a little o/t but it was cold here yesterday and today.

Fri-sat-sunday are supposed to be in the 70s and then mon-tue in the 50s.

how friggen great would it be if it were in the 70s next sunday?

It would be fantastic! I might have to bring my golf clubs with me to Texas! :D

It sounds like each day Wade is slowly picking up the intensity.

This also keeps the player with some light contact while limiting injuries
