** I know some of you wanted an Isaiah Stanback update, but the second-year receiver had a quiet day. I didn't really notice much from him. Sorry. We'll check back on that later.

**Fullback Ronnie Cruz was active out of the backfied in the passing game. He looked pretty good. Might have to keep an eye on his development.

**With winds closing in on Hurricane force the Cowboys did not connect on many or any deep balls Wednesday.

**The offensive linemen spent time working with a medicine balls to simulate punches at the snap.

**Some of the special teams' portion of practice was spent recovering on-side kicks.

** DE Chris Canty ate up a reverse to Terrell Owens. Canty did a nice job staying at home once his key, left tackle Flozell Adams, paid no attention to him . Canty's been active during these OTAs.

** Not sure how many reps Greg Ellis got with the first team on Wednesday but it looked like he got more than thr three or four he was getting. Anthony Spencer, who is behind Ellis on the depth chart, had a sack of Brad Johnson.

**Roy Williams put a nice lick - inadvertently - on running back Felix Jones tht had the rookie wondering what happened.

Let's just say Wednesday's OTA had some stuff going on.

**Pacman Jones was practicing for the first time with the media present, so you can have some live photos and reaction from his practice.

**Greg Ellis returned to the field after missing the last couple of weeks of OTAs.

**Tony Romo had a close call with a hand injury that could have had the organizers of the golf event he's playing in Friday worried.

**Terrell Owens was back on the field for the first time since last week after taking care of some business in New York.

**IRL driver Helio Castroneves was at Valley Ranch to catch some passes from Tony Romo and have Terence Newman line up against him.

**Deion Sanders came over to see his pupil, Pacman, practice. Former special teams coach Joe Avezzano was in the house, too.

**NFL Network was on hand. As was ESPN and a crew from HBO for the upcoming "Hard Knocks" series that will start in training camp.

How long before the "we are putting the band back together" comments start.

And how many Blues Brothers pictures will be used?

:)

WHich means he still has it in him, except he needs to start doing these things consciously and not by accident...

That's my boy Roy, making plays without even thinking about it. Talk about instincts kicking in.

If he is, I'll be glad to jump back on his band-wagon. I'd throw self respect out the window and go back to watching Roy on youtube.
