Read all about Tank's rap sheet
Those who want the nitty-gritty on Tank Johnson's criminal history should click this link. It's an ESPN.com story written before the Super Bowl, and the rap sheet is detailed about halfway through.
One of the lowlights is Tank telling a cop who was arresting him, "You ain't the only one with a Glock. If it wasn't for your gun and your badge, I'd kick your [rear]."
Since that story was written, Tank served a 120-day jail sentence (he was released early) for probation violation, resulting from the raid on his house late last season. And he was arrested in Arizona for suspicion of drunk driving at 3:30 one morning, which was when the Bears finally had enough and cut him. Those charges were dropped when blood tests showed he was slightly under the legal limit.
Calvin Hill's job just got a lot tougher.
