What on earth is bradie james talking about. Inman always says this teams biggest problem is they are not smart, that is starting to look more and more evident. I cant believe what I am reading from him.

This is like the rich kid whose parents just lost all their wealth and it is his birthday. His parents tell him he isnt getting a car for his birthday now because they are broke and he equates that to oh I am not getting the porsche but I am still going to get an range rover........even though the family cant afford a yugo.

I cant believe he would say this. I thought in 06 that newman was talking directly to bradie when he was fed up and started complaining about his teammates focus and effort etc...Now I definitely believe it...

I mean come on, now we have to win like everyone else? He should be embarrassed for even thinking this let alond saying it to the media.

I think the ship has sailed on this season, some more comments like this and I will be worried about next season.

After getting their butts kicked by a bad team, the Cowboys are forced to face the ugly facts.
Despite a ton of talent, the Cowboys aren't a good team right now. They were terrible in yesterday's rout by the Rams. They've been bad for a month now, losing three of four and holding off the awful Bengals for the lone win.
"We definitely had at some point been riding high," LB Bradie James said. "We're not riding high anymore. Here we are, just like every other team in the league. We have to earn every victory."
The handful of players who talked during today's media access period in the Valley Ranch locker room didn't have many answers. Heck, they're not even sure what the problems are, but they know there are plenty.
They're also well aware that this season, which opened with Super Bowl expectations, is on the brink of disaster if things don't change in a hurry.
"All you can do is keep fighting," C Andre Gurode said. "Fight your way out of a corner. That's where we are now."

Jerry Jones told reporters in New York this morning that suspended cornerback Adam Jones has entered an alcohol treatment center. Jones said the player checked into a facility "in another part of the country." The treatment plan is overseen by the NFL.

More to come later ...

I don't really see anything bad about his comments.

His mindset is that they could just coast through games and win. Now we have to earn every victory? Are you serious?

Even this decade's dynasty Pats had to earn VERY win. Didn't they win all of their Super Bowls by a FG each?

Bradie James flat-out sucks. The fact that he is the leader of this defense is troublesome, because he is non-existent on the field. At least Bobby Carpenter made a nice little read and tackled Stephen Jones when Bradie Jones went down. We have a bunch of idiots on the team and the fact that Wade doesn't supplant the idiocy with the better talent just ceazes to amaze me how foolish our coaches loyalty to a guy he likes is. It is like Parcells over again.

Give the freakin' defensive microphone to Zach Thomas....

Dude get a life I have never blamed it on one person other than jerry.

And yes I do feel owens played a big role in this. His absurd comments after the Commanders loss had an effect on this team. Some day we will find out what it is, no one has the right to call out the qb, no one but the coaches in private.

Keep clinging to this owens is the hero nonsense you pull, sorry if I offended your idol. He is part of the problem.

No offense to the OP, but I am not seeing much in Bradies comments here either. He is basically saying guys can't just show up and the W be given. They have to play every snap in order to win.

Gurode has the right attitude. Let's hope that tude carries over to the Bucs game on Sunday.

Yeah, I didn't take it that way. I just don't think any players at this level believe they can coast their way through a game and still win.

Don't get so riled Theebs. It isn't worth it.

Far to much going on right now to take sides against each other on here.

I am trying not to.

I guess they are too dumb to sit there and watch game film to see what they need to improve (not saying they don't but if they do it doesn't sound like they get much out of it). Work ethic goes a long way in the NFL.

lol well theebs phillips just said in his PC that its time to simplify things - offensively, defensively, and on special teams. Guess they are too dumb to get it.

Ah no-first you say Owens, now in this thread it's all Bradie James's fault.

Which is it? You can't have it both ways.

Its the second week in a row he has said it. How long before he realizes they are not more talented and they need to go out and play every snap like its their last.

wow, You are nuts.

Bradie is letting us all see the teams attitude for the second week in a row.

Just because you have a woody for owens and you only remember what is said about your idol, doesnt mean he is not part of the problem...

Its not so much bradie, but bradie allowing us to see the teams thoughts in the locker room.

I always said that Bradie wasn't very bright. He either is just not very smart or he can't express his thoughts very well.

Either way, his constant "I'm a leader!" refrain reminds me of Quincy. If you're a true respected leader, you don't have to constantly tell everyone that you are.
