Few people outside of the Dallas locker room seem to think the Cowboys have much of a chance to beat New Orleans Saturday night.

Quarterback Tony Romo has picked up on that vibe.

"Obviously, it's a great challenge,'' Romo said. "Everyone knows that. It's a good football team we're going against.

"But we're not walking in there thinking this is their homecoming, either. We think this will be a game we go out and compete in and if we play to the best of our abilities, we think we have a chance.''

What would it feel like to beat an undefeated team?

"Well,'' Romo pointed out, "we did it a few years back against Indianapolis.''

way to go romo.

If the roles were reversed, the media would be siding with new orleans still talking about how Dallas is treating new orleans like some doormat.

glad some of the guys on this team realize.

Romo must always want to beat brees, brees is what kept romo from playing Division 1 football as qb.

It should also be noted that we defeated the Bucs this year when they were undefeated.

In fact, one might argue that our game against them was the begining of the downfall this season.

Can't stand how Saint's fans are already having the Lombardi Trophy engraved with their name on it. Let's just forget the rest of the season. They are worse than Iggles fans.

Agreed. If we had lost to them they would have gained so much confidence and momentum and perhaps been where the saints are now.

Saints are absolutely NOT going to beat Minny, SD or even Indy, so I'm not sure why they'd be so confident.

Purdue's coaching staff liked romo in high school. they wanted him to go there, but because brees was already there they couldnt give him a scholarship, so he didnt want to pay his way there to be a backup.

the other school that was interested in him and would give him a scholarship was Army, but they wanted him to be a tight end.

So he ended up at eastern illinois.

Dude if Romo went to Army...that would've been AWESOME.

No it wouldn't have...he would have incurred a 6 year service obligation and wouldn't be playing football at all right now, in all likelihood.

Huh... interesting. Even more reason to want to win this one :).

So if Army wanted him to be a tight end, what are his hands like? Besides the greased up K-Ball in Seattle, he seems pretty sure with some of Gurode's lame duck shotgun snaps. We know he has some decent legs (well he can run...), and hes no Vick or anything, but it would be fun to see him run a route and catch a pass. Maybe a wildcat from the goal line...

Its called having no class at all. The Saints act like they are the "Greatest Show on Turf, part 2" and we all should bow down to them. Apparently they have ordered rings as well, the rest of the season is just a formality to them.

They better enjoy it now, because if they do get to the SuperBowl, Indy is going to stomp a mudhole in their arse and walk it dry!!!!!
