Wade Phillips wouldn't go so far as to say he was confident that T.O. could play in the Cowboys' first playoff game. Tony Romo did so without hesitation.

"I'd be very surprised if he wasn't back," Romo said. "There's a few guys that on this team that you just know they'll do whatever it takes in certain situations. Jason Witten and some guys like that, you just know they'll fight through certain things and give you everything they've got."

T.O., who didn't make his normal Wednesday appearance in the locker room, proved his toughness and competitiveness by playing in Super Bowl XXXIX six weeks after breaking his ankle and tearing ligaments in his leg while being horse-collared by Roy Williams. He has three weeks to recover from a high ankle sprain. His quarterback figures T.O. will crank up his trusty hyperbaric chamber and be fine.

I agree with Romo. When looking at TO past and how he has rebounded quickly from injuries my gut feeling he will be fine and ready to go for the playoffs.

Thats a vote of confidence, knowing how close Romo & T.O. are.

It really is a great story.

The unknown, undrafted QB wins the starting job as the Dallas Cowboys, America's Team QB and THEN not only leads the team to victories... he knows what it takes to make the situation between QB and WR work.

Of all the great things about Tony... that is up there with them. Very impressive.

Hey, I have a WR that plays his butt off and wants to help team win and helps me look better and vice versa. Thank you may I have another? :D

Comparing him with McNabb for a moment, and his blowup with T.O. ...

Was McNabb always like this, or did Philly (media & fans) make him that way?

While I think that the Philly crowd gave McNabb a raw deal from jumpstreet... I think what we see from McNabb is truly McNabb. They tried to put lipstick on that pig and it worked for a while..... no more. Wait until he leaves.... fans are gonna talk about wishing they still had TO and had they known then what they knew now.... ooffa...

He wouldnt share with TO. I still dont think he has read.. "Little T learns to share"
:laugh1:

I think the fans booing him on Draft Day, and their general dissatisfaction over taking him instead of Ricky Williams has contributed majorly to McNabb's thin-skin, I believe he had to be coddled and consoled by the Philly franchise from that point and time, and once you're in that type of situation for awhile, it's hard not to feel that you deserve special attention all the time

just my 2 cents

if the hyperbaric chamber is so great, why don't all the players get one?
