Flozell needs to be replaced. He was pathetic today.

He's still a very solid player, you can expect penalties from him though. It isn't a Cowboys game without a penalty on Adam's behalf. I don't know what's up with him and flags though. You'd think a player of his caliber could get past that.

Is there anything Tony could do that would prompt you to give him even a speck of credit?

Pose in a pic with 2 other guys, grabbing one of the guys junk?

That'd impress McCords.

Says all the right things; then went out and did it today.

No picks, 2 TDs, 350 yards.

Yep, it deserves repeating given how far he has fallen. Back in the Romo honeymoon this would have been business as usual but celebrated. Now it's out of the ordinary but underappreciated.

It was a very real option had the Chiefs done something with the possession that started at midfield in OT. Tony baffles me sometimes.

After the game-winning touchdown pass to Austin, Romo said, "It was like I was a little kid again. I was so excited."
Jerry Jones looked pretty happy too, as he was comparing Austin the player (see T.O.) to the player no longer here (not Roy Williams)
"He's big, he's fast and he works his tail off," Jones said of Austin

I think anyone off the street could have done better. He gets beat routinely, and racks up penalties to boot.

He needs to be replaced immediately.

Yup lets do it! :lmao: What was it BP use to say about the QB? let's put it into effect in this situation. It's not like you can dial 1-800-LT and get a young stud to replace a pretty good LT. You can try if you want. Let me know if anybody answers.

Just dial 1-800-SCARECROW for a replacement. A scarecrow, while not very nimble, at least has the benefit of not racking up so many penalties, and hurting the offense just as it is beginning to have a good drive.

Dumb quote on Romo's part because today losing was very much an option and it looked like for 85% of the game they did whatever they could to do that. Losing wasnt an option...pshh...I think Romo just pulls quotes of other players adressing the media out of his but and spews them.

Coach Jones did a hell of a job today. I wonder what Wade had to say.

While Wade danced on the topic, Romo was a bit more direct, and Jerry was frank on the impact on what a loss would have meant.

"We didn't think about losing; that wasn't an option," Romo said.

Jones added, "it would have been a pretty significant loss for us. A loss, no matter how you couch it would have had a significant impact on the team."

Losing is never an option. However, winning always seems optional with this team.

He's just trying to say the right things. I think it's even tongue in cheek a bit.

What else could he say, though? It was a must win if they're going to have any success this year. We don't know how they're going to play against Atlanta, but losing today would've been devastating. If losing was an option, I'm glad the Cowboys opted to win instead.

Romo's quotes are very Tom Brady-esque this year...and I'm talking about the seasons that Brady didn't lead his team to the Super Bowl. Clearly Romo is taking lessons on dealing with the media...from Brady most likely.

I guess that's your opinion, but LT has one of the hardest positions in football. I'll take what Flozell does for us. He's better then most LT's out there.

Replaced with? I know he had a bad game, but i think we are stuck with him.

I realize that, but the front office has to replace him this off-season. Hell, at this point I'd like to put Free in and see if he can play any better. Flo use to keep our QB clean so we could live with his occasional penalty. Now, he gets beat often and is committing MORE and MORE penalties, most at a crucial time. At some point, the bad outweighs the good.

What game are you watching man? That dude gets beat like a drum, and it is a jailbreak on his side routinely. Romo can't even throw to his left because guys are coming in free from that side.

I can live with subpar play, but the false start penalties have to go. Flozell needs to be replaced as soon as possible. He single-handedly hurts this team.

I stand firm that we are better off with a statue, or a scarecrow in his place.

Actually he USE to be better than most all of the LTs out there. At this point, he gets beat too much and well......needless to say, he's a penalty machine. If he doesn't get beat right off the block and if he is able to get firmly in front of the rusher and get his hands on him, Flo wins. However, if the rusher gets his shoulder turned and has a half step on him, Flo is finished. He just isn't quick enough any longer to compensate when the rusher gets a better start than he does, which is often now.
