Coachable WR Roy Williams said a couple of weeks ago that he hadn't cut yet due to the foot injury that nagged him most of last season. He did indicate that the issue with the foot was more of a mental thing than physical pain at that point.
Well, he apparently isn't worried about the foot anymore. Williams played in a ex-UT star Michael Huff's charity basketball game over the weekend in Austin, where several NFL players gathered for the spectacle that is the Texas Relays.
Maybe the foot was Williams' excuse for getting dunked on by some dude who played at Texas-Arlington. ***BANNED-URL*** correspondent Martellus Bennett reported the vicious dunking on Twitter and claims to have video of the play. (Marty B, a pretty good basketball player at Texas A&M who really believes he has NBA potential, also claims that he was the game's MVP.)
If Williams' foot is healthy enough to hoop, running routes for Tony Romo isn't an issue anymore.
