One reason i like the Cowboys' chances is that the Saints are coming down the stretch in their quest for a perfect season. Plenty of great teams have lost, against worse teams than the Cowboys, attempting the same thing.
Saints LB Scott Fujita said they don't use a perfect season as motivation. ``There really isn't a lot of discussion about going undefeated,'' he said. ``Obviously, everybody has it in their mind, you know, if we get by this one we've got two games left, then we'll have one more left ...''
The Falcons lost to the Cowboys, and despite suffering key injuries since then, almost beat the Saints last week. Is it that much of a stretch to think New Orleans can't be beaten by a desperate Cowboys team with plenty of weapons?
The Saints can talk about taking it ``one game at a time,'' but it's like the golfer who realizes he's on pace to shoot 59. Most fall short because of the enormity of the situation.
