Some notes from opponents' schedules that could impact the Cowboys:
*The NFL gave the Broncos and whoever will be their new quarterback a golden opportunity to build confidence in September. Denver plays at Cincinnati, the Browns at home and at Oakland before the Cowboys come to town.
*The Panthers, on the other hand, have a pair of tough games before coming to Arlington: Philadelphia at home and Atlanta on the road.
*The Cowboys catch Kansas City after their NFC East rivals have a chance to rough up the Chiefs. Todd Haley's team plays at Philadelphia and hosts the Giants the two weeks leading up to their home game against the Cowboys.
*The Cowboys won't have an advantage in preparation time the week after Thanksgiving. The Giants also play on Turkey Day, so both teams will have 10 days to get ready for the meeting at the Meadowlands.
*The Seahawks have a bye before coming to Arlington.
*The league made it as easy as possible on the Raiders to get ready for Thanksgiving, giving Oakland a home game against the Bengals the previous Sunday.
*The Cowboys are the only non-NFC South team on the last quarter of the Saints' schedule. New Orleans plays at Atlanta the week before the Cowboys come to the Superdome.
*The Eagles have a couple of get-fat home games (San Francisco and Denver) before finishing the regular season at JerryWorld.
