Byron Leftwich is a statue with a looooooooong delivery. The Cowboys led the league in sacks last season.

Advantage, Dallas.

The pressure is on the Bucs' offensive line to prevent DeMarcus Ware and Co. from wreaking havoc Sunday at Raymond James Stadium. Here's a just-the-stats look at those five guys (sacks allowed last season, per Stats Inc.):

LT Donald Penn - 8.5
LG Jeremy Zuttah - 0 (five starts)
C Jeff Faine - 1
RG Davin Joseph -- 1
RT Jeremy Trueblood - 6

Bryan Broaddus, the official scout of ESPN 103.3's Galloway and Co., speaks very highly of Penn despite the guy giving up the ninth-most sacks in the league last season. Broaddus describes Penn (6-5, 305) as a strong player with a great punch and good footwork.

The 6-3, 313-pound Joseph, a first-round pick out of Oklahoma in 2006, is an extremely physical player with good feet. He earned a trip to the Pro Bowl last season.

Broaddus believes that Trueblood (6-8, 320) is the weak link on the line. His issues: "Not very strong, gets overextended and has a hard time moving with his guy." That's good news for Anthony Spencer. Watch out if DeMarcus Ware, whom Wade Phillips wants to move around more this season, gets one-on-one with Trueblood.

I think they'll plan on getting the ball out quickly and throw in a few max protect bombs against Jenkins.

It doesn't truly play to Leftwich's strengths, but this kind of team has to stick with high percentage/low risk stuff at this point.

I expect the Bucs to try to grind it out as much as possible and keep the Cowboys' offense off the field.

Not to play the "weshouldadrafted" game too much, but this is guy I wish we had over Barbie. Everyone talks about missing on Cromartie in that draft, but no one ever mentions Joseph.

Aw well.

I'm curious about how we play things on D. I honestly think we might be good enough to stop them with mostly our basic stuff on defense, so Wade might want to save a few things for the Giants the next week... Or he might throw the kitchen sink at them right off the bat. Maybe it'll depend on how the game goes.

I think the key is not letting them run it on us, which I believe they'll try to do.

Was Joseph a 1st rounder? I thought he went in the 2nd.
