Season isn't over

Check this out, the season isn't over and it's not the end of the world.

Dallas should beat Minnesota next week and then after the bye week comes some major issues. Consecutive road games, Philadelphia and New York Giants, are two potential losses. Then a home game against Washington on Nov. 18 before a Thanksgiving Day game against the New York Jets.

Schedule gets harder now and over the next five to six weeks, the Cowboys are going to be tested.

I still believe this is a 10 win team but the goal, as Jerry Jones said numerous times isn't just winning a playoff game, it's going to a Super Bowl.

So he has us 6-1 going into the bye and 4-5 after.

One day at a time. I think we should be able to hit 4-1 or 3-2 over our next 5 games. Nothing is given, but there's no reason why we can't.

This is an alteration of something I found one time:

To measure true greatness of a team:

True greatness belongs to those who dare to accomplish what others said they couldn't.

True greatness is to challenge the idea of defeat and to their past mistakes, they will not repeat.

True greatness is to sets their mark to meet their goals and when under duress, to never fold.

From what I've seen thus far, the Cowboys are the making of a great team. When Romo was off the wagon, the team pulled together to keep the team afloat. Even in defeat, they battled till the end and walked off with their confidence. This guys are just going to get better and better with every week and every game. To go 15-1 is a huge task and I'm not saying they will do it. What I will say is they look like a team that has the making of a team that can.

I feel good about our next 6 games. Not saying we will win all of them but our teams knows what the best looks like. I can see us going 4-2 or 5-1.

I agree. I think we should be 11-5, 12-4, with some breaks. I hate to say it, but the Skins are pretty good man. Hopefully, Westbrook and the Eagles get further injured. Giants are definately playing better. I say if we split with the Eagles Skins and Giants we should go 12-4. Now, I think we can win them all, but history tells me we wont.

Eh, I think this team will win more than 10 games, I wouldn't be surprised if we win 12 to 13 games.

I dont think the schedule is as hard as you think. The Pats were probably the best team the Cowboys will face offensively or defensively. Remember the Boys had the lead with about 10 minutes left in the third and was only down a touchdown at the beginning of the fourth. That holding penalty on fourth and one that negated the first down at around 45 could have lead to a tying score. I know its all water under the bridge but my point is their are not ANY teams the Boys will face that will come close to the PAts.

The Eagles are limping and are simply not playing good ball. Their offense is struggling to score TDs and thier defense is very suspect. The Jets went 0-4 in the red zone yesterday and gave up over 100 yards to Thomas Jones.

The Commanders are not playing bad on the defensive end but still dont have a pass rush. The offense is steady losing lineman and Cooly seems to be their only weapon. Portis is not healthy and Jason Campbell is still learning the offense.

The Giants offer more of a test than any team in the East and we all know how they falter down the stretch. I think the Cowboys have a VERY good chance of winning their next five games, including the Thanksgiving game, because I just dont see any other teams playing on their level.

I think the Buffalo game was a trap game and the Cowboys have alot of motivation for their next few games. Minnesota will be a game coming off a lost. Phili coming off a bye week. Besides, its Philly! Giants will be a divisional game on the road and the Washington game will be a home divisional game. Of course the Jets game will be a nationally televised game so I think it would be a good time to get your popcorn ready.

All and all the Cowboys are going to be ok. Relax and enjoy.
