The highlight of the today's media access period in the locker room was a wrasslin' match between receivers Sam Hurd and Isaiah Stanback. It got pretty rowdy with the players and media forming a circle around the combatants, and OT Marc Colombo's sound effects added a nice touch to the atmosphere.

Hurd and Stanback agreed that it ended in a draw, but Stanback said he took it easy so Hurd wouldn't be sidelined on Sunday.

"I haven't brought out my spear yet," Stanback said. "He'd be down for a little bit. We don't need that now. Sam's been helping us out a lot, so we don't need his midsection messed up."

Both parties have agreed to a rematch, time and date to be determined.
UPDATE: Hurd told reporters that he has internal bleeding despite Stanback not busting out the spear. "It ain't over!" Hurd said.

Things got a little testy today In the lockeroom for the Dallas Cowboys as they prepare to take on The New York Giants in sundays NFC Divisional Round Playoffs.

According to unamed sources, a scuffle broke out between second year wide reciever Sam Hurd and first Year project reciever Isaiah Stanback. Apparently Stanback took offense when Hurd told him Eli Manning was a much better Quarterback than he was, and that Eli had just as many pass receptions as him this year.

When asked If he thouight this altercation would be a distraction to the team leading up to the game, Head Coach Wade Phillips said " the best I can tell right now, Sam Hurd and Isaiah Stanback are both 13-3".

This has lead to speculation that there was no clear cut winner in the fiasco. However as a side note, Starting Quarterback Tony Romo, when pressed about the issue said " this just reinforces in my mind the need for guys to get a little time away from football, maybe even a mini-vacation somewhere out of the public eye".
