Since somebody on here asked about the Cowboys' chances of selecting a player in Thursday's Supplemental draft, here goes: I don't see it happening.
The best player is Georgia cornerback Paul Oliver, who did an excellent job on Georgia Tech's Calvin Johnson when they played. But Oliver doesn't have much speed and is considered a Cover-2 corner, so that should knock him out of the Cowboys' mix because they want quickness and speed in their corners.
The next-best player is considered Maryland's Jared Gaither. He is enormous (6-8, 324) and flashed some skill in his time on the field. But there are some questions off the field about him that might shy away some teams. I'm not even sure the Cowboys had a representative at his workout on Monday. And then there's this: they just drafted James Marten and Doug Free in the third and fourth rounds of the April draft, so why draft another tackle?
The other players eligible, largely, are either wannabes or never weres.
