.O.'s spectacular run just keeps getting better.
His fourth consecutive 100-yard game -- something only Michael Irvin had done as a Cowboy -- was probably his best performance since arriving in Dallas. He caught eight balls for 173 yards, one shy of his Cowboy high set a couple weeks ago in Philly. His four TDs tied should-be Hall of Famer Bob Hayes' franchise record.
Then T.O. sealed the win by swatting away the Hail Mary attempt. (Quick break for humor: That was his assignment, he explained to reporters. "Does that count as a drop?" Ch. 11's Steve Dennis replied, cracking up the room, the Original 81 included.)
T.O. capped his outstanding performance by delivering a heartfelt speech in the locker room. He emphasized that it was a great team win and singled out rookie FS Courtney Brown for making a great play on the last punt, tackling Antwaan Randle El as soon as he caught the ball.
"I'm playing with a chip on my shoulder," T.O. said in his press conference.
T.O. has something to prove, and it's not about the unbelievable stats he's been piling up lately. He's determined to show the world that he's a great team player, regardless of his reputation.
