I am about ready to snap at how Terrell has been treated recently, not just by the national media, but now by the LOCAL media. What the hell is wrong with these guys? Do they want this team to win a Super Bowl? Or do they just want to turn over every stone imaginable, try to sabotage this team, create a huge story and then have something to write about for the next year, even if the story has no legs and was media made?

Disgusting.

I've already boycotted watching anything ESPN related, and I'm close to saying screw the Dallas media as well. Its the same garbage coming from blow hards like MeShawn and Cris Carter but from beat grunts.

In his book he stated he only wanted a new contract in Philly because of an issue with them most likley cutting him after the season, and if he got injured again (Roy) no teams would want him, and he'd be in trouble.

I just listened to the TO interview, and he would not answer a question Werter was trying to ask. He tried to ask it like 2 or 3 times, and TO kept simply saying Next Question. Pretty good. What has Werter done specifically to TO. I think he like most, focs on the negative, but has he done anything specific to TO?

Yeah, here's the video (if I got the link right.) It's also on the front page at dallascowboys.com.

I think it's just that Werder works for ESPN and every single weekend (at least) he's standing in front of Valley Ranch with that star in the background stirring up crap.

Good on TO for stonewalling him.

I started this yesterday -
Roy #11 has a 45-50M deal. TO eventually is going to snap - you can double size book that.

TO and his actions past decade have made these angles for the press.

And future actions by TO are wide open and the man is far from predictable.

They each get $9 million a year, so what's the problem?

TO getting paid as a Haller in his prime the same as Roy #11 whose career at best to date is above average in NFL. ROY #11 CONTRACT IS BIGGER THAN TO's in $ and that will be the problem....

1. The dallas media doesn't work for the cowboys so they aren't obligated to Like them.

2. It's not about them "Hating" the cowboys, it's about them trying to create controversy where there isn't any.

3. It's also about them spreading their agenda, eventhough their job as journalists is to report the facts, not express their opinions.

4. And it's also about them (not all) trying to be "Extreme" so they can get a job with BSPN.

5. And finally, in most cases, it's just that they're a bunch of freakin' idiots.

I really wonder how some of this media types that are just trying to stir up controversy and tear others down look at themselves in the mirror. Makes me wanna puke!

We need to see the exact #s to know for sure about the yearly average of Roy's contract in comparison to TOs

Going by whats out there so far, here's a break down:

TO extended 3 more years for 27 mil @ 9 mil per year
(total of 4 years 36 mil @ 9 mil per year)

It's been reported Roy got extended 5 more years to 2013 for a additional 45- 50 mil.
(making it a total of 6 years including this year)

So Roy's #s are either

6yrs for 45 mil @ 7.5 per year
or
6yrs for 50 mil @ 8.333 per year

TO got 12 mil guaranteed I think where as Roy is said to have gotten 20 mil

SO by the #s, TO is still the big m$n$y man

TO is a different guy nowadays. I think he has a much different perspective on life in general as well as the concept of being a teammate.

I think that THAT has been run with for SO LONG that THAT has become a reality... when its not and it wasnt.

TO had problems with TWO team mates. Garcia & McNabb. Most of his previous team mates loved the guy.

IMO he hasnt changed "team mate-wise" - after his catch in the playoffs that won the game against GB... the first thing he did was thank his team mates after the game in the locker room... its on tape!!!

TO just wanted fair market value for his talent. Up front money and security. Jerry took care of that. The eagles didnt.

Cool. Thanks. I posted yesterday and hoped someone would put those numbers together. Are they totally accurate? Did we run this by Adam :D ?
