T.O. wouldn't mind a practice off

OTs Flozell Adams and Marc Colombo rested this morning, and Wade Phillips mentioned that he'd probably give T.O. a practice off pretty soon, too.
T.O. takes pride in being a great practice player. In fact, he was wearing a T-shirt today that said "iPractice" on the front and "TO GET BETTER" on the back. But he wouldn't complain if Wade told him to be a spectator one morning.
"It's all about working hard, and at the same time, it's all about working smart, too," T.O. said. "It's just like training a horse or running cars. You can only run those horses and you can only run those cars so much. You've got to give them some rest. We're human. We'll break down just like anything else with overuse."
T.O. sat out several practices during last season's training camp, when he dealt with soreness in his back and hamstring. He said he feels fine now, thanks in part to working on grass instead of turf.
But you can count on T.O. sitting out soon for precautionary reasons. Perhaps they can bring out his famous exercise bike for old times' sake.
