Talked to Cornerback Terence Newman on Friday in the middle of his ESPN studio deal.

Newman spent two days in Bristol, Conn. on TV and the radio. Here's a little Q&A I did with him from the WWL headquarters.

How was you're two days at ESPN?
"It is a lot of work that's for sure, a lot of down time a lot of work."

When you retire is TV the way to go?
"TV might be the way to go. It's definitely a good experience a good way to see whether I like it or not. Getting a chance to be hands on and take on questions and ask questions it's a good experience for sure."

Good to ask questions?

"The difference I think is I play, you know. I don't think I would ask the same type of questions because I know what it's like. I can use 'I'm still playing' and I know there are questions I would like to answer and questions I wouldn't like to answer. I can use that to my advantage if I ask another person. I might get Tank [Johnson] on a little bit and experiment with him a little bit and get rid of the negative stuff and see if we can get his image back."

Better to do TV or radio?

"It's the same. The TV part, I'm a guest. On radio it's more about me. So, when I'm not with two other people its more like I'm a guest and they are asking questions first. I think I will have a free role. It will be more fun for me."

TNew's knowledge of the game really came thru on TV.

I can see him landing a gig somewhere after his playing days are over.
