Worst case is that Sensabaugh has a good year and wants a big contract, and moves on and we have a replacement in Hamlin for next year. Or he gets beat out by a rookie and is good depth and is allowed to walk next year.
No, worst case is that he has a good year, gets a Ken Hamlin-type deal from Jerry Jones, and then starts playing like Ken Hamlin did after he got paid.

I know its early but i'd have to say Phillips and Manny Johnson may be the only guys that don't make it on the roster.

I think Phillips will have the inside track on Hannah because he can block (or least he could in college) and they drafted him. 3rd TE is going to have to be more of a dirty work guy than a pass catcher.

Very solid pick no one outside of Dallas is talking about. He's a football player and that's what they were after.

Talk about hitting it right on the screws. Has that one landed yet?:laugh2:

I am hoping Jason Williams sends Brooking to the bench. I like his speed.

Rather than hoping any of our rookies earn a starting spot, I'd rather see guys like Williams, Mickens, and Hamlin get a ton of snaps in sub packages.

the former would lead me to believe we missed on guys like Brookings and Sensabaugh, while the latter would lead me to believe that our rookies are actually potentially future starters. Just going by perception...

Hodge, the new improved RW/Burnet...

I have the highest hopes for Hodge the more I have watched of him.

I also went back and watched several games last year just focusing on Burnett and I was shocked how often he appeared to make errors in coverage. In the first Eagles game in particular he bit on simple play action and even head fakes from McNabb and let his man loose in zone coverage when a stop could have kept that scoring fest under control.

If Hodge can improve on that, we've found our nickel linebacker. The fact he's played safety before and that has to be helpful once he gets used to dropping at LB depth instead of as a DB.

Williams is the player I expect the least out of. He's completely raw and will have to learn a lot about the defense before he can take Brooking's job away.

I doubt it, I think M. Hamlin was drafted to take over that spot beside K. Hamlin. I don't think Jerry is going to have two very expensive Safety's.
